Instructions

  1. Heat up mustard seeds until they pop, reduce heat and add the following spices, onion, tomato paste and carrots, cook 3-5 minutes. (3-5 minutes)
  2. Add the paste, garlic and chili and stir for 1 minute. Add the red lentils, tomatoes, spices and water and cook until the lentils are done, around 20 minutes. (~21 minutes)
  3. Serve with rice and/or fresh naan.
