Noodle wok

Instructions

  1. Chop all the veggies in slices and stir-fry one at a time for a few minutes on medium-high heat with wok oil
  2. Stir-fry the fake chicken (or other protein) for a few minutes
  3. Boil the noodles according to the package instructions
  4. In a bowl dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tbsp of soy sauce, when homogenous add all the other sauce ingredients
  5. Put all stir-fried ingredients in the pan and add the sauce, cook for a few minutes
  6. Serve with noodles and chopped spring onions as topping

Ingredients
  • 30 mL cornstarch
  • 30 mL soy sauce
  • 30 mL dark soy sauce
  • 15 mL vegetable oil
  • 5 mL toasted sesame oil
  • 15 mL rice vinegar (or lime juice)
  • 5 mL sugar
  • 10 mL garlic and ginger paste
  • 5 mL chili flakes
  • white pepper (to taste)
