Portobello burgers

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together all marinade ingredients.
  2. Place mushroom caps smooth side down in a large plate or baking sheet. Pour marinade over mushrooms.
  3. Brush both sides of the mushrooms with marinade, making sure they are evenly coated. Cover and let sit for 30 minutes, re-brushing both sides once during the process. (30 minutes)
  4. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the mushrooms are tender. (10-14 minutes)
  5. Serve the mushrooms with buns and all usual burger ingredients.

  • 5 mL dried oregano
  • 2 garlic, minced (large cloves)
  • 2.5 mL smoked paprika
